Most shops need nothing new. Check each screen on your wall and we'll total up the hardware, if there's any at all.
Tip: the brand is usually on the bottom edge of the frame or on the remote.

Cable or Wi-Fi. Menus are saved on the TV, so a dropout won't black it out.
On a timer is fine. It reconnects by itself when it wakes up.
Portrait or landscape. Menus resize to fit.
Any screen with an HDMI port becomes a GhostScreen. One-off cost, and you can buy it anywhere.
A Fire TV Stick or similar. Plug into HDMI, done.
